Speculation are mounting that Tottenham is interested in bringing in experienced Arjen RobbenArjen Robben from Bayern Munich. The 27 years old Arjen Robben has the experience of playing the highest level of football for his country and the leading European clubs. Before joining Bayern Munich , he has already represented Real Madrid and Chelsea FC.Actually it is Rafael Van Der Vaart who is acting as a bridge between Tottenham boss Harry RedknappHarry Redknapp and Arjen Robben. On one side he has convinced Harry Redknapp to sign Arjen Robben and on the other hand is trying to convince Robben to make a comeback to Premier League.
It seems that the funds generated through the sale of Luka Modric might be used for the signatures of Arjen Robben. otherwise the will have to sell few of their fringe players from their already oversized squad.
There are also reports that the newly promoted QPR (Queen Park Rangers) want to sign Peter Crouch.
Rumours are also rife that Tottenham Hotspurs are also set to make an offer for Roma striker Mirko Vucinic. The Italians want a reported £17.5m for the 27-year-old but Tottenham are reportedly only prepared to go to £13m.
